Environmental Blog Break

Submitted by Mike on Wednesday, June 11, 20086 Comments

EasyGreensy LogoToday I took an environmental break and didn’t use any energy at all. I didn’t use any electricity for 15 hours and had no need to drive the car. It wasn’t really my choice, but it was a good feeling anyway. The power lines were down from a strong storm last night. I was however able to come up with some great ideas to share. I’ll be getting them out soon.

I’m also working on a multi-part series about composting that I’m hoping well dispel some negative thoughts about the process. Hopefully we can encourage everyone (even you apartment dwellers) to consider finding a second use for food scraps.

In the meantime here are some of my favorite green blogs for you to enjoy. (Trust me the entire list would overwhelm anybody.)

Thanks for keeping up!

I’ll be very interested in your composting feature, partly because I can’t understand there are negative thoughts on the subject. I’d be especially interested if you address composting in a very, very, limited space.

Thanks everyone. I’ve collected most of the research for the composting series. I’ll be getting the first part out shortly.
